The Edge of Never

The Edge of Never Review

The Edge of Never Overview

-A New York Times & USA Today Best-Seller-

Twenty-year-old Camryn Bennett had always been one to think out-of-the-box, who knew she wanted something more in life than following the same repetitive patterns and growing old with the same repetitive life story. And she thought that her life was going in the right direction until everything fell apart.

Determined not to dwell on the negative and push forward, Camryn is set to move in with her best friend and plans to start a new job. But after an unexpected night at the hottest club in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, she makes the ultimate decision to leave the only life she's ever known, far behind.

With a purse, a cell phone and a small bag with a few necessities, Camryn, with absolutely no direction or purpose boards a Greyhound bus alone and sets out to find herself. What she finds is a guy named Andrew Parrish, someone not so very different from her and who harbors his own dark secrets. But Camryn swore never to let down her walls again. And she vowed never to fall in love.

But with Andrew, Camryn finds herself doing a lot of things she never thought she'd do. He shows her what it's really like to live out-of-the-box and to give in to her deepest, darkest desires. On their sporadic road-trip he becomes the center of her exciting and daring new life, pulling love and lust and emotion out of her in ways she never imagined possible. But will Andrew's dark secret push them inseparably together, or tear them completely apart?(Due to sexual content and language, this book is recommended for 17+ - Adult Contemporary Women's - New Adult Fiction)

The Forgotten

The Forgotten Review

The Forgotten Overview

The Forgotten is a book written by David Baldacci that is listed in the mystery and thriller genres. The mystery is ideal for days when you want to spend time figuring out who has committed a crime, and this novel is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

In The Forgotten, Army Special Agent John Puller, a combat veteran, is the man the United States Army often calls on when the toughest crimes need solved. In this book, the crime is personal; his aunt is found dead in Paradise, Florida in what is ruled as a tragic accident. Puller isn't convinced, though, and just before she died, his aunt mailed a letter to his father that suggests that Paradise isn't what it seems.

If you love solving crimes and taking a thrilling passage through the lives of characters, you'll love reading this book. It is the second in the series that features John Puller as a military cop, so fans of the previous novel will be able to join the character once again on an exciting adventure. The mysterious novel even provides a man that you know is on a mission, but you aren't sure until later if he's there to help or hurt Puller's investigation.

With all the mystery thrillers available, you'll love being able to get to know John Puller from The Forgotten and follow him as he solves the toughest crimes in the United States, even when they involve his own family.

The Last Man

The Last Man Review

The Last Man Overview

An invaluable CIA asset has gone missing, and with him, secrets that in the wrong hands could prove disastrous. The only question is: Can Mitch Rapp find him first?

Joe Rickman, head of CIA clandestine operations in Afghanistan, has been kidnapped and his four bodyguards executed in cold blood. But Mitch Rapp’s experience and nose for the truth make him wonder if something even more sinister isn’t afoot. Irene Kennedy, director of the CIA, has dispatched him to Afghanistan to find Rickman at all costs.

Rapp, however, isn’t the only one looking for Rickman. The FBI is too, and it quickly becomes apparent that they’re less concerned with finding Rickman than placing the blame on Rapp.

With CIA operations in crisis, Rapp must be as ruthless and deceitful as his enemies if he has any hope of finding Rickman and completing his mission. But with elements within his own government working against both him and American interests, will Rapp be stopped dead before he can succeed?
